CHANGING AN EXISTING ORDER
I start to produce your order as soon as you place it. If you change your mind after placing your order, I offer a limited time-frame of 24 hrs in which you can amend or cancel it. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to help you.

RETURNS
Atelier Wolfson is a small independent Art + Design Studio. I make limited editions and one-off pieces each year. My process is slow and I take extreme care with the quality and precision to ensure the highest standard of craftsmanship. I operate on an intimate scale - making only a limited number of pieces each year. Everything is made to order and pre-order. I start to produce your order as soon as you place it. I immediately order materials from my carefully selected suppliers, especially for your unique and individual order to get the process in motion. For these reasons, all sales are final. CHANGING AN ADDRESS
During checkout process you can add, change or remove your billing and/or shipping address. If you have already added items to your shopping bag they will not disappear if you change your data. Please note that all the prices, VAT, delivery times and delivery charges will be adjusted depending on the destination country.

DELIVERY DATE
Delivery date for your goods are always specified in the product description of the style ordered. We kindly ask you to first read the product description of the style you intend to order before paying for a deposit.  

CUSTOMS, DUTIES + TAX
Duties maybe charged by the country of import and are beyond our control. Customers are solely responsible for any extra charges incurred.

SHIPPING
We ship worldwide.


Ordered item(s) will be sent by DHL or UPS, depending on the destination country and customs fees.

Payment on delivery is not available.

Personal pick-up is available by appointment from our studio.

COMPLAINTS
Delivered item(s) may slightly differ from pictures located in the Online Store, in particular in terms of their colours. It is caused by various colour profiles and settings used in displays and end point devices used to display item(s) in the Online Store. The Seller shall not be responsible for differences in the appearance, which result from subjective perception of the pictures presented in the Online Store, or individual settings applied to graphics cards and monitors of Customers.

I use natural vegetable tanned leather, which means that it retains its natural, authentic and unique appearance and structure. Each part has a slightly different texture and character. Therefore, it may slightly differ in appearance from product photos placed in the Online Store. Marks, scratches and slight imperfections should not be seen as flaws or considered defects, but characteristic properties of this kind of leather. Scars, wrinkles, irregular coloration, and texture differences due to the animal's growth process, injury, or fighting, are all normal textures and unique to the individual animal. • Over time, lighter colours will darken, colour tones will become richer and the leather will develop a beautiful patina, creating an individual piece that will get better with age and be unique to you. 
• Slight colour transfer from darker leather colours may occur in a humid environment or through friction - please bear this in mind, especially when wearing light colours. 
• Do not use chemical products on this item and avoid contact with water, oils, perfumes and cosmetics.  Wipe carefully with a natural coloured soft cloth if necessary, and leave to dry naturally.

Atelier Wolfson uses Full Grain Leather. Among real leathers, full grain leather is by far the most superior in terms of quality. Unlike the other grains, full grain has not been separated from the top grain or split layers, and is therefore the strongest and most dependable type of leather. 

Full grain leather is the highest quality grade of leather that money can buy. It comes from the top layer of the hide and includes all of the natural grain. It is more expensive for manufacturers to buy and more difficult for them to work with. This is reflected in the cost to the consumer.

As full grain leather ages, rather than wearing out, it burnishes and beautifies, developing a much sought-after patina and unique character that cannot be easily duplicated. Truly, the more it ages, the better it looks and feels.

Full grain leather is incredibly strong and durable, as the natural grain contains the strongest fibres in the hide. It’s also extremely breathable, resulting in less moisture from prolonged contact.

CREATIVE PROCESS
As all pieces are made completely by hand, no two pieces will be identical. There will also be subtle imperfections; these include variations in the material as well as evidence of the making process. My work celebrates a slow and ecological creative process by connecting with the organic elements and working with natural materials. Every piece is one of a kind, handcrafted in my studio here in Amsterdam. 

COMMISSION + CUSTOM WORK
Atelier Wolfson is a small independent Leather Art + Design Studio.
Throughout the year I work on different projects and my calendar is split between design, production and artisanal work. I open my calendar for custom work when I have capacity, and when I do, this is notified by email to my newsletter subscribers. 

Please kindly take a moment to review the following FAQs before getting in touch:

• Bespoke service is available for private clients and commercial gifts only - we do not produce samples or manufacture products for other brands.

• Production time depends on the individual project and will be quoted on consultation. Please do get in touch if you have a specific deadline to check availability.

• Design ethics are paramount to Atelier Wolfson so please avoid asking to copy or reproduce designs by other brands.

• Please ensure your design idea aligns with the philosophy and design aesthetic of our studio practice. To avoid disappointment consider carefully if Atelier Wolfson is good match for you. Please take a good look at our collections before contacting us.

PRE-ORDERS CALENDAR
On top of supplying pieces to our select stockists, I open pre-orders for my signature styles in my Online Store several times per year. When I do, this is notified by email to our newsletter subscribers.

WHOLESALE
I am a small independent Leather Art + Design Studio dedicated to thoughtful, long-lasting products and partnerships. My calendar doesn't follow ordinary seasonal cycles and for this reason our stockist list is thoughtfully considered. I only produced limited edition or one of a kind pieces.
